- Late news de W3IWI
-
- (1) All boards on order have now been shipped. New team members are N7ML &
- K6RFK from AEA, and WB2TNL here in Maryland. Two boards are being supplied
- by AMSAT to VE3JF and G3RUH per arrangements made by N4HY.
-
- (2) Mike Lamb, N7ML has come thru with a much needed resource. AEA has
- purchased for loan to the DSP team ten copies of the latest version of
- Allen Ashley's TMS320 PC-based cross-assembler and two copies of Ashley's
- TMS320 emulator. This software is the property of AEA but is available
- for loan to those who need it. It is also posted on the TOMCAT FTP file
- server.
-
- (3) TOMCAT is still online and at your service. If I can figure out how
- to get it to work properly with our ROLM ISDN network, I'll make a SLIP
- dial-in port available in the evenings. Please let me know if you want 1200
- or 2400 baud service since KA9Q's TCP code can't handle auto-bauding. If
- you use TOMCAT please let me know who you are by logging in using your call
- as the password. Again the full name is TOMCAT.GSFC.NASA.GOV and the IP
- address is 128.183.10.100. FYI -- TOMCAT is also the repository for the
- latest KA9Q TCP/IP code. The latest code includes Amiga and Macintosh
- releases too.
